Better Angus from Pasture to Plate

Our production model starts with the end in mind: the consumer eating experience. Rather than selecting cows with specific traits, we focus on a list of what makes a great eating experience and reverse-engineer from there.

Because we don’t have the resources to do this all on our own, we rely on a network of farm family partners to help us expand and scale our breeding and herd programs, and distribute our finished beef products to local consumers—the ultimate judge and proof of our work.

Most importantly, we focus on maintaining the critical balance between marbling/meat characteristics and the health and reproductive needs of the Angus mamas. Pursuing only meat qualities comes at a price to other important performance areas.
